The long and short of it
Idris technology is committed to helping its Idris Technology Partners (ITP's) progress in new areas, with the security of knowing the technology incorporated in their systems meets specification and accuracy requirements. The publication of our newest white paper covers details for loop installation when long feeder cables are required.
DCS undertook a project to analyse what constitutes an acceptable upper limit to feeder length. The objective of the study was to provide ITP's with guidelines to help them get the specified accuracy from Idris in adverse situations. Recommendations were made relating to areas such as detectors, depth of axle loop cuts, frequencies and installation guide lines. The results of this investigation demonstrate DCS's ongoing drive to make Idris even more adaptable and easy to use and to support ITP's in achieving the product's full potential.
