Quixote renew Peek Traffic's ITP status
Renewal of Partnership Agreement Confirms Idris® Technology's Central Role in Peek Traffic's Future
At a special signing ceremony held on Monday, February 23rd in Los Angeles, Peek Traffic Corporation, a Quixote Company (Nasdaq: QUIX), and Diamond Consulting Services Ltd (DCS), owners and developers of the patented Idris® Automatic Vehicle Classification Technology, renewed their long-standing partnership agreement.
For many years, Peek Traffic has incorporated the Idris® Technology into their Automated Data Recording (ADR) products and has sold the Idris® software for embedding on clients' own lane controllers in tolling applications.
“Idris® is central to our strategy to supply the best available technical solutions to the traffic industry in the USA” said Tim O'Leary, President of Peek Traffic Corporation.
Commenting on the continuing relationship with Peek, Bob Lees of DCS said, “The potential for Idris in the US market is enormous and we look forward to working with Peek Traffic and Quixote to meet the needs of the market for accurate, cost effective and reliable data in a wide variety of applications “.
