Lyon welcomes the world of ITS
Lyon, France is hosting the 8th ITS European Congress this summer and will welcome a wealth of ITS professionals at Cité Internationale Congress Centre from the 6th - 9th of June, including a delegation from Idris. Mike Payne, DCS Business Development Manager, will be presenting a talk on Idris Incident Detection and its impact on tunnel safety, on Tuesday 7th June, in room Saint Clair 4 between 2.00 and 3.30pm.
Idris Incident Detection system is being used to improve tunnel safety by tracking vehicles, even in multi-lane environments, entirely by loops below the road surface. Trials have shown the effectiveness of this solution in all traffic conditions and weather scenarios.
