Local technology & local ales
As many of our colleagues in the industry know, DCS has a long standing tradition of sponsoring worthwhile causes. When one of our Idris engineers, Steve Bird, approached the DCS marketing team seeking sponsorship for a local beer festival we were particularly happy to assist. This annual event brought together local communities to enjoy live music and sample the delights of local traditional ales and ciders. In the true Idris style and tradition, we sponsored the glasses from which the ales and ciders were drunk (as modelled by Director Andy Lees and Idris Engineer, Steve Bird). The event was a great success and raised around £3,000 for local youth projects in the county.
