ETC Celebrates 10 yrs & Honoured with 2009 Tech Titan Horizon Award
This year marks Electronic Transaction Consultants Corporation's (“ETC”) 10th anniversary, marking a decade of leadership in the toll industry. Formed in 1999, ETC has become a leading provider of Electronic Toll Collection, collecting approximately one-third of all toll transactions in the United States.
At the recent 9th Annual Tech Titan Awards the Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC), the largest technology trade organisation in Texas, awarded Idris Certified License Company, Electronic Transaction Consultants Corporation (ETC), with a Tech Titan Fast Tech Award.
The Tech Titan Awards recognise outstanding technology companies and individuals in the North Texas area which have made significant contributions to the industry during the past year. ETC were presented at the Tech Titan and Titan Fast Tech Awards gala event on Friday, August 28, 2009. The Horizon Award category is for large companies of 100 employees or more.
Accepting the award for the Company was ETC's Managing Director, Tim Gallagher, who was also a finalist in the Tech Titans CEO award category. Tim stated, 'This is an honour for which all of ETC takes a great deal of pride, as each and every member of our team contributes to our success as a company. In addition to the award presented to ETC, we offer our heartfelt congratulations to our customer, the North Texas Tollway Authority, which was honoured with the Tech Titans Technology Adopter Award.'
