CS Communications & Systems (CS), designer and integrator of intelligent transportation solutions and Diamond Consulting Services (DCS), specialists in research, development and consultancy for the ITS industry, announced today the signing of a partnership agreement for the integration of Idris automatic vehicle detection and classification (AVC) software.
CS is a provider of turn-key projects, proposing innovative and performance proven solutions based on state-of-the-art technologies. These custom tailored solutions provide the most advanced and accurate systems allowing reliable revenue collection, while reducing operating costs and optimising automation levels and sustainability.
CS chose to integrate Idris Technology into its versatile tolling solutions to meet AVC specifications in line with global requirements for market performance. Idris, a worldwide proven technology, operates in all lane types, in all weather conditions, for all traffic environments, and is now specified in operator tenders for effective, reliable AVC in Open Road Tolling systems (ORT).
Under this agreement, CS becomes an Idris Certified Licensee Company, and a prime integrator for Idris solutions. CS and its customers also benefit from the ongoing support and development provided by DCS.
